DELAWARE’S NORTHERN GATEWAY
Claymont offers the location, infrastructure, and regional access to make a direct airport connector practical—starting from an established transportation center built to connect the region.
Approximately 800 free spaces help travelers avoid daily airport parking costs.
A highly visible transportation hub positioned for northern Delaware and the wider region.
Existing rail, bus, bicycle, and pedestrian connections support a true mobility center.
A homegrown solution shaped around the travel needs of Delaware residents.

COMMUNITY-VALIDATED DEMAND
More than 500 community members helped shape the initiative. The strongest message was consistent: make the route direct, keep parking free, and create a service people can depend on.

PHL IS THE FIRST STOP
After a successful airport pilot, future routes will be evaluated using rider demand, operating performance, and strong community partnerships.
Potential event-day transportation to stadiums, arenas, concerts, and festivals.
Convenient access to Philadelphia’s historic, cultural, dining, and visitor destinations.
Future group solutions for hotels, employers, colleges, hospitals, and community partners.
KNOW BEFORE WE GO
Not yet. The Claymont PHL Connector is in pilot development. Funding, operating agreements, compliance, scheduling, and the qualified transportation operator must be finalized before service begins.
Final pilot fares have not been announced. Community research showed the strongest preference for a $30–$50 round-trip range, and affordability remains central to the design.
The planned hub at the Claymont Transportation Center offers approximately 800 free parking spaces. Final instructions will confirm designated parking and boarding areas.
The service is designed as an asset-light partnership with a qualified, insured transportation operator responsible for vehicles, drivers, safety, scheduling, and route operations.
